Pot & Basket aims to be usable by everyone, including people using screen readers, keyboard navigation, or magnification. The target standard is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA.
What is in place
- Text contrast meeting or exceeding 4.5:1 against its background
- Descriptive alternative text on every meaningful image
- Headings used in correct hierarchical order so structure is navigable
- Full keyboard navigation with a visible focus indicator
- Body text at 18px minimum, resizable to 200% without loss of content
- Recipe instructions available as plain structured text, not only inside images
- A print view that strips navigation and advertising
Known limitations
[List anything genuinely outstanding here rather than claiming full conformance. Third-party advertising and embedded video players are common sources of issues outside this site’s direct control.]
